Len and Dorothy Shepherd had 12 children of which six are still living. The grand children number 55 and each year as many as possible along with their children visit Campbell Park during the week long reunion.

One Tree Point School Dec 2009 saw the year 3’s at their annual camp. Time spent on the beach, the flying fox, the caterpillar ride, and performing at the concert make for enjoyable camping memories.

The children were surprised when the pizzas were delivered by helicopter, still hot from the Rusty Pelican, Matakana. Collecting bits and pieces from the beach and making stick men was a fun hobby for all.

What a great bunch to have here at Campbell Park. Lots of fun and laughter on the waterslide, tense competition during the Top Team programme, and the concert included great singing.
